Closure of The Ridley OOSC and 3Rivers OOSC

It is with regret that we are closing two of our middle school age clubs. Unfortunately, the income is not covering the cost of running the clubs and we have no alternative but to close them.

We would like to thank everyone who have supported them in the past.

Further statement regarding the charges against Mark Watson.

Since we became aware of this incident in January, we have conducted a review of our safeguarding and vetting procedures to ensure these have been followed in relation to Mark Watson. We can confirm that these have been followed. We have also been cooperating with the Local Authority, Northumbria Police, The Charities Commission, and OFSTED during this period to ensure the welfare of the Charities beneficiaries are fully considered during this time. We would like to reassure parents and young people who use our services that the welfare of young people is of paramount importance to us and always will be. If you are a young person or a parent and feel that you've been affected by the recent press articles and have any concerns please speak to a member of our staff or contact our head office. We would also like to thank everyone for their messages of support for the organisation.
